As a Hallam Medical Advanced Practitioner you must meet our stringent recruitment criteria and thorough background checks to ensure individual training, education and current practice is at the level our clients demand and expect.

We aim to provide the framework to support Advanced Practitioners developing their scope of practice by working in a variety of settings. At Hallam Medical we believe this is essential for Continuous Professional Development and safe practice.

Our recruitment process will always meet the current NHS Employment Check Standards and prior to any placement we will provide:

Photographic ID and Identity Checks	Reference Checks
Right to Work Checks	Occupational Health Checks
Enhanced CRB Checks	Qualifications and Registration Checks

GPs

In addition to our stringent recruitment criteria, thorough background checks and current NHS Employment Check Standards all Hallam Medical GPs must also provide:

GMC Certificate and Registration Check	GP Qualification (PMETB/CCT/JCPTGP)
Performers List Details	Original Medical Qualification
Specialist Courses (e.g. IDU fitting)	Proof of Indemnity (MDU or other)
Safeguarding Children / Child Protection	Basic/Advanced Life Support
Mental Health Capacity Act
